Akke E. T. Viitanen

This is the personal page of Akke Viitanen, a Finnish astronomy/astrophysics PhD student at the University of Helsinki. I welcome You to my tiny piece of the web.

My primary research interest is how galaxies and their central supermassive black holes are connected, and how do they relate to the cosmic large-scale structure. In addition, I am a member of the COSMOS collaboration as well as the exciting upcoming ESA Euclid mission, which will produce a three-dimensional map of the distant, dark Universe, shedding light on the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy.

You may find my academic CV here, and my recent publications in ADS here.

You can send me email at firstname(dot)lastname(at)helsinki(dot)fi, and please find my public GPG key here.
